Bug?

I have 2 Claws.
Talon 63 dmg +9 and talon 54 dmg +9 anct
in one test i see the dmg of tarons does in my char, and i see, when my god using the anct claw he take more dmg ( like 75 to 180 dm) and when he use normal talon, tarons hit 28 to 45 dmg.
what is it bug?

this is PD by taron, they have more PD when u use some AD stuffs, because if i go full AD hunt they need hit me! and celes have strong defence + full AD taron cant hit, then the producer make it.
AD set weapon = more DMG by mobs (not all)
PD set weapon = low DMG by mobs (not all)

it work only in desert, snow field n DD (but not on all mobs)

This is how it works. The damage of all the monsters in the desert, snowfield and khepra is based on your defence. For example, if you have 2150 def, tarons do 35 dmg. If you have 2000 def, the tarons do 220 and if you have 2300 def tarons hit u 150ish. So the point is balancing your defence. Also, try to afk in spots where only one kind of monster spawns. Like only tarons, or only heavy tarons or only spiders.

PS: 1 Absorb Damage = 2 defence (more or less)

so if you are using ancient or +10 - 11 stuff, calculate your defence accordingly.

Which part of "damage is scaled based on your defence. 1 AD = 2 defence" do you find hard to understand?

If you want to experiment, try going all PD, then take a shield and one handed wep and try tarons. You will get hit for more. Then turn shield off, check for damage.

If you find this hard to understand, just use pots.
